In this story from the Argonautika, Jason must pass an impossible test to win the Golden Fleece. The sorceress Medea uses the Promethean Charm giving him godly strength and invincibility so he will survive the following:

​

1. Plow a field after wrangling fire-breathing bulls

2. Plant dragon teeth in the soil as if they are seeds

3. From the teeth in the ground sprout an army of men with spears and swords

4. Battle and kill every single one of them

5. Finally, with the sorcerer Medea’s help, put the living dragon guarding the Fleece to sleep and escape
